I recently completed my PhD in Social Psychology at the University of Waterloo (UW) in Ontario, Canada. My research focused on motivation, self-regulation, and decision-making. My dissertation explored how motivational orientations like regulatory focus and regulatory mode can influence whether and how individuals maximize when making decisions.

I am currently employed as a Junior Researcher at Employment and Social Development Canada in Gatineau, Quebec. There I focus on research related to persons with disabilities, studying the impact that issues surrounding disability can have on people’s employment, education, and well-being.
